One grid in the product editor holds the price for every crust, sauce, cheese, topping, drizzle, and cut in a single place.
A finished pizza drops straight into the WooCommerce cart, carrying its full ingredient breakdown along with the line item.
A pizza-specific WooCommerce product type, registered as a taxonomy term rather than post meta so it stays compatible with HPOS.
A meta box on the product edit screen where you set the base price, wire up per-layer pricing, and attach builder options to the product.
Publish named house pizzas — a Margherita, a House Special — that customers pick in one tap and can still tweak before checking out.
Order emails to both the customer and the kitchen include the whole pizza spelled out — every layer and price — so nothing gets guessed at the counter.
Each order gains its own PizzaTier panel that lays out the full build for whoever's making it.
A sticky checkout bar that borrows the look of whichever template you're using, matched across all eight.
A built-in order system takes orders on sites that have no WooCommerce at all — order records, status tracking, and staff notes included.

If you have PizzaTier and PizzaTierPro installed side by side, the upgrade is four steps. Your ingredients, pricing grids, presets, and existing orders all carry over.
Standard practice for any major version bump. A database snapshot is enough.
Install the new zip over your existing plugin. On first load it migrates the old pizzatierpro_settings into the merged settings automatically.
The old add-on is now redundant. PizzaTier 2.0 detects it, deactivates it, and explains why with an admin notice — but removing it yourself keeps things tidy.
Open a Pizza product, confirm the pricing grid still reads correctly, then run one pizza through the cart end to end.

The obvious questions
PizzaTier is a one-person project built in Hilo. Splitting it across two plugins meant two codebases, two support surfaces, two sets of release notes, and a dependency check that broke in ways nobody enjoyed. Folding it into one free plugin costs far less to maintain and gets the builder in front of more pizzerias — which was the point of writing it.

No. If you run WooCommerce, PizzaTier plugs into it for cart and checkout. If you don't, the built-in ordering system takes orders on its own — order records, status tracking, and staff notes, without a shop plugin.
PizzaTier 2.0 spots it, deactivates it, and shows a notice explaining why — the merged plugin already contains everything it did, so running both would duplicate hooks. Delete it once you've confirmed the upgrade went cleanly. See the steps above.
Yes. Pricing grids, presets, ingredient data, product configuration, and past orders all carry over. The upgrade runs a one-time settings migration on first load and records that it's done, so it never repeats.
